The Tivo&#039;s WILL work for a SHORT time without the phone line or network connection being hooked up, but remember the Tivo NEEDS to phone home quite often to get the schedule updates for the Television programs.

So what you could do now is subscribe your Tivo service for a month then stop it again. Then you will have a few days or a week or so that you can view everything again. I know this kind of sucks though..</description>
