My wireless router is not working at home. I just bought a digital baby monitor. Could that be the reason?
The wireless router is in the personnel and is wirelessly connected to our desktop computer, two laptops, and the Tivo series 2. The digital baby monitor is in the nursery, about 25 feet (and two walls) from the router. The router is a Linksys router, and sits on the floor next to my Comcast cable modem. Because the wireless router is not working, we have no internet connection, nor can we watch TV (through our TV) We’ve called Comcast manifold times but they tell us its our router. We’re getting to the end of our rope!

What kind of router needed for wireless broadband service?
We have wireless broadband Internet service (from the tower to the house) and we’re wanting to set up a network in the house to add our TiVo and another computer to the Internet. We bought a wired DSL/Cable router and can’t set it up…we keep getting a message saying the router cannot connect to the Internet. Does wireless broadband service require a special kind of router…does it need a wireless router?

Anyone else have problems with TiVo and wireless?
My TiVo seems to randomly not recognize my router.
It'll say it sees it on the main connections, witha 74% signal and no DHCP. …but if I check wireless settings, my wireless isn't on the list. So I add the name, add the password… and it can't do it for three flawed reasons it suggests.
I've tried TiVo tech support but… wow. Have they always had this terrible of tech support?
