My wireless router is not working at home. I just bought a digital baby monitor. Could that be the reason?

The wireless router is in the personnel and is wirelessly connected to our desktop computer, two laptops, and the Tivo series 2. The digital baby monitor is in the nursery, about 25 feet (and two walls) from the router. The router is a Linksys router, and sits on the floor next to my Comcast cable modem. Because the wireless router is not working, we have no internet connection, nor can we watch TV (through our TV) We’ve called Comcast manifold times but they tell us its our router. We’re getting to the end of our rope!

What wireless modem and/or router is best to use with a Tivo 2 DT and AT&T Fast Access DSL 6.0?

I have a Tivo 2 DT and I just signed up for the AT&T Quick Access DSL. I want to go wireless with both. My diplomacy are all clear across the house from my phone jacks, so that is not an option, unless I run 100 foot of phone wire across my ceiling. I looked up the Instajacks and the like, and they didn’t get very excellent reviews. AT&T offers a free modem and wireless router, but that sounds like it is crap too. I want to know, if there is one wireless router and/or modem, that is surpass for what I need it for, than another? The Tivo site and the AT&T site, of course, want and suggest that you buy the diplomacy from them, but does it really matter? And if it does, why? If I know it correctly, the router doesn’t matter, as long as you have the adapter for that device. Like I have to have the Tivo adapter from Tivo and the DSL adapter from AT&T, right? I have always had cable. I know nothing about this wireless stuff.LOL I would appreciate any comments or advice. Thank you.

how do i set up a wireless network in my house with two routers?

i got a slingbox for christmas which allows you to view your tivo programs over the internet (http://www.slingmedia.com). it’s a cool thing, but the slingbox needs to sit near the tivo and has only an RJ45 jack to connect to the internet. my dsl modem and wireless router are a few rooms away (tivo’s downstairs, router’s upstairs) and I don’t want to run a wire. there must be a way to go wi-fi from the wireless router upstairs to another wireless router downstairs to the slingbox. any tips on how to set something like that up?
