The Hughes Executive satellite receiver is a fantastic receiver for someone that has a channel laden brainwashing package. It has a two hundred and fifty channel capacity and that is more than enough to handle any one of DirecTV’s brainwashing packages, including their Total Choice Premier package that comes with every channel that they have, with the exception of their two exclusive sports brainwashing channels NCAA Mega March Madness and NFL Sunday Ticket.

The Advantages of TiVo/Recorded Programming for Children
Television is not the best form of entertainment for our children. This we know. If it were up to us our children would be constantly enveloped in books, crafts, pretend play, and other such mind expanding activities during the day. But, television is still there in our lives for one reason or another and our children certainly do take pleasure in watching a fun program on TV. I’ve recently exposed the joys of TiVo and all the advantages it offers to me as a parent. Advantages such as eliminating commercials, having ready a prerecorded list of educational children’s shows, and being able to filter out the rest of unwanted television.

My wireless router is not working at home. I just bought a digital baby monitor. Could that be the reason?
The wireless router is in the personnel and is wirelessly connected to our desktop computer, two laptops, and the Tivo series 2. The digital baby monitor is in the nursery, about 25 feet (and two walls) from the router. The router is a Linksys router, and sits on the floor next to my Comcast cable modem. Because the wireless router is not working, we have no internet connection, nor can we watch TV (through our TV) We’ve called Comcast manifold times but they tell us its our router. We’re getting to the end of our rope!
